Cann't find the answer straight out in my Bible. I'm going to try with the information I do have,ok? If "BAR" is "son of," means "does BARABBAS means "son of the father" because ABBA is an affectionate term used even today used by children for their fathers or "daddys" So since Jesus is the Christ would that mean BARABBAS repesented the complete - opposite so in turn his full name would be---BARABBA"S ANTI-CHRIST. Am I close? Trying to serve the LORD Jesus Christ --pixiedust

Brother McFadden told us that whenever we read the story of Barabbas to put YOUR OWN name.
Example: Barabbas Middlebrooks, Barabbas McFadden etc. It helps us keep in mine that jesus took OUR place not just someones
