This song keeps popping up on my social media feed, and those who know me are aware that I'm not against the creation of new songs. Nevertheless, I find it puzzling why this song, like many new ones, doesn't even mention the word "God." Many songs leave it up to the listener to interpret the "he" and "me" as whoever they want it to be. This song will not be sung in my church.  - RANT OVER

The generic *god* of this world. Those lyrics are eerily vague. Sad that so many will add this to their repetuor (sp).

Weird. It’s kind of New Age, with a bit of transcendental meditation thrown in. Nothing specific about God - in fact, you have to read into it to assume it is even talking about God.
