If humans, refused to receive the gift of salvation and preferred to do good work for their salvation, then put them to work. It's not a sin to do good. Meanwhile, you can preach the word of God to them so they might get Saved.

It's a sin to let them think that doing good will help them along to salvation. I would continue to witness to them, but if you're saying to let them be active in the ministry of the church, ie, helping with the youth, singing in the choir, or acting as an usher, etc, I would be against it. It sends the wrong message, not only to the person doing the "works", but to church members as well. I'm not saying to austricize them or mistreat them in any way, but, be open and honest with them.

You sound like a Jehovah's Witness. Their bible is a perVersion but THEY believe it is the word of God; and they certainly push works.

Maybe that is why you have so many issues with the church and pastors. Have you been attending a Kingdom Hall?
