God's Power and creation

Last night in the hot tub, the sky was clear and the stars brilliant. The falling stars I saw were magnificent. It was a wonderful time of worship with my Lord. Then at about 3:00 am a lightening storm came in. Lightening hit twice on out block by our house. IT SCARED US ALL AWAKE. The dogs freaked out and everything. The next thing I thought was how much power was in that lightening, and that it is nothing compared to God's power. Very Very humbling.

Taking the time to wonder and marvel in God's great creation is such a blessing.

As well, it's a great blessing to know that no matter how powerfual a storm may be, our God is more powerful, in full control and more than able to shield us from it's fury.
