sometimes I think someone posted something (from the index), I click on it and it not there. It haven't happened lately though. Although I thought it was happening again last night in the subforum. but I brushed it off as didn't refresh the browser (after I refreshed it, someone else posted so I can't tell) .

The delay will be there until we get the new server in place. Those of you that do webhosting with us got this email by us a few minutes ago.

This will not affect you in any way as to your sites. Your IP will be the same, E-mail etc. This upgrade will move data faster by 400%! I will let you know the exact date of this upgrade. My guess is the first part of next week. The system will be unavailable between 2am and 4am EST. The down time is expected to be no more than 15-30 minutes as the new box will be swapped in. I apologize for this but it can not be avoided. If all goes well the down time can be as low a 5-10 minutes. For the teckies among us the new system will be a Dual Xeon E5310 Quad Core processor (Clovertown)-with 8 core processing power. The current server has 2 cores. Also adding almost double the memory will round out system performance. I am always working to make your web hosting as efficient as possible. OH yes, there is no change in pricing to you. Because of your faithful support, I have never increased costs to you in over 10 years. I will keep you posted on the exact date. If you have any questions please let me know.

Good news from Anchor WebHost. Very soon a new and much faster server will be in place. Thanks to the growth of AWH, because of folks like you, a new system will be shortly installed.
