No doubt he's been trying harder to openly promote his agenda, regardless of the Constitution, the will of the people or historical precedence.

 

As to what presidents have done since FDR and Truman, whether Dem or Repub, none of them have seriously tried to end the unconstitutional and socialist programs and agencies and intrusions their predecessors put in place. In fact, most have not only continued to fund such, they have often expanded these things and even added their own.

 

It's not a matter of communism, it's a matter of fallen men always thinking they know better, that the end justifies the means, that they can do what they want and prOBably get away with it.

 

I don't think most of the Republicans in congress are communists, yet they continually vote for and allow to pass all sorts of bills that fund and expand unconstitutional and socialist programs, agencies and laws. They do so simply because they have no core opposition to such and tend to focus their attention on whatever they think can get them elected/reelected. Selfish interests trumps what's actually best, or even constitutional.

 

It's a sin prOBlem and we know there is only one cure for such and it's not an education in political philosophy, it's salvation and growth in Christ.

Nero was the "King" when Timothy wrote this through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.  There has never been a more wicked ruler, especially to Christians, in the world than Nero was, and he exhorts us to "pray for our leaders". 

 

How much time have you spent last week praying for our Presidents salvation, and to come to the knowledge of the truth?  Have you ever thought about what it would mean for our country?  What would it mean in our country if our President said, "You know what, we have been a wicked nation, and while I am everybody's President, there is one morality established by God Almighty Himself that we are all accountable to, and I am declaring a day of fasting and prayer, and a day of repentance in our country.  I am my family are going to repent as well.  We are going to seek to please God in all the things that we do.  As your President, I want to stand here and lead our Nation back to the God of the bible."

 

Other Presidents have done that.  What might it mean in our country?  I find it easier to pray for my President if I don't make him the butt of our jokes.

¹  Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.
²  Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.  

 

This does not mean that God appoints every ruler like OBama.  It means that the authority of "Government" is ordained of God.  Just like the authority of the family.

We are to pray for them.  Be subject to them.  Not speak evil of them.  I am more against President OBama's policies than I have been against any President in my lifetime, but that does not change my responsibility to those in authority as a Christian man.  How little time we have spent praying for our leaders.

Just who is the higher power in our land.  I t is, or use to be, the Constitution of the United States.  That is who the founders put in charge.  That is who the presidents and all other office holders swear allegiance to.  That is the higher power, not he president or any other elected official.  Read the Declaration of Independence and see how the people are to OBey higher powers when they usurp power unto themselves.  Those who have rule over us in this country do not OBey the Constitution and deserve no respect.  They have shown that their oath means nothing to them,  They deserve to be fired.

The Naked Communist is a 1958 book written by W. Cleon Skousen who was an ex-FBI agent, author, speaker and teacher. He was a student of history and a scholar of law, specializing in the principles of Freedom, the U.S. Constitution, economics, and ancient history and scriptures.

 

In his book, Skousen describes the geopolitical strategy by which the Marxist–Leninist Soviet Union was attempting to overcome and control all the governments of the world that were not members of the Communist bloc; including and especially America.

The following is a sample list of the 45 Communist goals contained in The Naked Communist:

1. Develop the illusion that total disarmament by the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.
2. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.
3. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.
4. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces.
5. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.
6. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights.
7. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers' associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
8. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack. (Anyone remember the 60’s and early 70’s?)
9. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policymaking positions.
10. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.
11. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms."
12. Eliminate all laws governing OBscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.
13. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and OBscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.
14. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural, healthy."
15. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a "religious crutch."
16. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state."
17. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
18. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."
19. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture." Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.
20. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture—education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.
21. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.
22. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.
23. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral prOBlems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand or treat.
24. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.
25. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity, masturbation and easy divorce.
26. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.
27. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use "united force" to solve economic, political or social prOBlems.
28. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

Sounds to me like they've pretty much accomplished what they set out to do.

American Communists will always side with the motherland (Russia) even if on the outside they oppose or even fight them in a war.  They want you to watch the one hand that puts on the show while the other reveals their true intentions, goals, and loyalties.

 

Roosevelt and Truman are classic examples of such treachery and deceit.   

Not sure if this is the case today. America is prOBably more communist than Russia is today. Russia knows it's a failed system but the libs coming out of America's universities think they can make it work.

 

The truth is that a lot of Americans like strength and Putin shows that while OBama comes across as a wimp.

Putin is doing what a leader of any nation should be trying to do. He wants to strengthen his nation and help her to be more safe a secure while trying to ensure Russia and Russians have a good future to look forward to.

 

Meanwhile, the leader of America is busy weakening America and furthering the chance of a very bad future for America.

 

Putin isn't looking for world conquest, he isn't looking to reestablish the Soviet Union, he doesn't want to retake Eastern Europe. Putin, better than most, knows Russia's weaknesses, that she doesn't have the manpower or economic capability of such things and that even if they could retake much of the former Soviet Union, they wouldn't have the wherewithal to hold them and they would be a great drain upon Russia, a burden they can't bear.

 

Putin also realizes and acknowledges the great danger of radical Islam. He doesn't want the Islamic states back in his Russia. Putin also sees the rise of China and knows the threat China will one day pose to Russia. He's also concerned with the fact the so-called peace loving West keeps expanding it's military alliance as close to Russia as they can.

 

Putin has also seen the decline in the West where homosexuality has been so openly embraced. He has taken steps to keep homosexuals from adopting children and from putting forth pro-homosexual propaganda.

 

I wish America had leaders who would acknowledge the truth of what we face, internally and externally, and work against that which is bringing us down while working to build that which is good.

He is good for Russia, but prophecy is clear that Russia will be the first to try to take over Israel.  God will send them back to Siberia, though.

I have never trusted this man, b/c of that.  So many Jews in Russia are living in poverty.  Americans send money to Russia to feed them.  The majority of them are elderly.  They are too frail to make Aliyah to Israel.  Putin could care less about them.

OBama is far worse, though.  When our president looks worse than Putin, it is really pathetic.

Some Christians actually work to try and keep the prophecies from happening while on the other end there are some who try to force them to happen sooner. Neither will work. God has His own timetable and what He has said will happen will come to pass when He has set the time for it.

 

America isn't mentioned in Bible prophecy, and even though some have tried to come up with dozens of different ways they think they can fit America into Bible prophecy, America still isn't mentioned.

 

Will America collapse before the end, fall to civil war, become so broken apart and weak she won't have any influence, become a puppet of some rulers mentioned in Scripture? I don't know.

 

All I know is that we are called to live for Christ today and the end times are in God's sure hands.

I agree with most of your post except Putin.  I don't trust these leaders, either.  However, I will vote for POTUS in 2016, as it is my right to do so.

I will have to find the information on Putin despising the Jews.  I have followed him, in the media for years, but I don't anymore.  Maybe, he had a change of heart?  I dunno.

Can he and OBama button up their shirts and wear a tie?  They look like thugs.

Russia Says Crimea ‘Legitimate Security Interest’

Foreign policy debates are usually a polite affair. Ideas may clash, but the exchange rarely gets personal.
    This was not the case during the “Brussels Forum,” an annual gathering of European and American politicians and experts, including the Russian ambassadors to the EU and Nato.
    The Estonian President, Toomas Ilves, complained about the EU “sitting and watching” while Russia annexed Crimea and giving Moscow “a minor slap on the wrist” by blacklisting a few dozen people, a reaction which Russia “laughed at.”
    The Italian foreign minister, Federica Mogherini, who was defending the EU decisions, snapped: “So let’s bomb Russia? What is the solution?”
    The Russian ambassador to the EU, Vladimir Chizhov, defended what he called the Russian “intervention” in Crimea, saying the crisis had started earlier, when Ukraine slipped into “deep political and economic prOBlems” and risked turning into a “failed state.”
    On a separate panel, Nato secretary general Anders Fogh Rasmussen cornered the Russian ambassador to Nato, asking why Russia is not respecting the international principle it subscribed to in 1999—that each country has a right to freely decide on its international alliances.
    “This is true, but there is also the international law enshrining the principle of indivisibility of security. NOBody will improve their security at the expense of the security of others. Europe (the West) insists that Russia has violated the international principal it subscribed to in 1999. Russia, however, claims to have liberated the Crimean people from the Ukrainian threat. Apparently, there is no immediate answer and military action is virtually out of the question.
    What is of interest to us (Christians) is that Ukrainian Jews had a major impact on the founding of the State of Israel in 1948. Of the 37 signers of the Declaration of Independence, 8 came from the Ukraine, 8 from Belarus, and 5 from Poland.
    Under the column, “History of Jews in Ukraine,” Wikipedia states:
   In 1921, Crimea became an autonomous republic. In 1923, the All-Union Central Committee passed a motion to resettle a large number of the Jewish population from Ukrainian and Belarusian cities to Crimea. 50,400 families were moved. The plan to further resettle Jewish families was again confirmed by the Central Committee of the USSR on 15 July 1926 assigning 124 million roubles to the task and also receiving 67 million from foreign sources.
   The actions of the Soviet government for the supported settlement in Crimea with Jewish families in 1927 led to a growing anti-Semitism in the area.
   In 1944, it was suggested to Stalin to form a Jewish Soviet Socialist Republic in Crimea, however, the idea was not materialized.
    
    By far, the largest majority of Israelis have their roots in the former Soviet Union countries. Not surprisingly, the Soviet Union was first to fully recognize Israel 17 May 1948, followed by Poland, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, Ireland, and South Africa. Later, on 31 January 1949, the United States as well recognized Israel.
    Although the connection may be difficult to analyze, we can’t help but think of the words recorded in Deuteronomy 32:8, “When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when he separated the sons of Adam, he set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel.”
