What's really funny is that sometimes you DON'T win. We aren't willing to take that risk for our family. If you are sitting in jail waiting for a trial, you aren't caring for your kids.

1Co 7:20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called.
1Co 7:21 Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou mayest be made free, use it rather.
1Co 7:22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.
1Co 7:23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.
1Co 7:24 Brethren, let every man, wherein he is called, therein abide with God.

Matt. 22:17 Tell us therefore, What thinkest thou? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?
18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt ye me, ye hypocrites?
19 Shew me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.
20 And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?
21 They say unto him, Caesar?s. Then saith he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar?s; and unto God the things that are God?s.

They ARE your "masters".

If you don't like it, move somewhere where they aren't. Anyone who has the power to put you in jail is your master.

Now all you have to do is find a way to prove that position, since nothing in this countries history supports your position. The ability to imprison someone does not establish that they are your master. Not even the ability to kill another person makes them their master.

The facts are in the Bible. If the government says "pay your taxes or you go to jail" then they are your masters and you do as they say. The only time you disobey is if it counteracts Scripture, which it clearly has not. We have it easy compared to the NT Christians.

I'd really like to see the scripture that makes that true, because the scripture you gave say render unto ceasar, and we don't have a ceasar. And the other scripture say render to whom it is due, and when that is applied to our form of gov't they are our servants and aren't due. The ability to imprison does not establish a master/servant relationship. For example a person could abduct you off the street and imprison you against your will for an indefinite amount of time, but would that make them your master? NO that makes them your abductor/captor, but not your master.

Did you read the passage I had in bold??

And I answered for it with the very next verse down (Roman 13:7). You have to apply the verse to the time and place you live. I don't live in the Roman Empire 33ad, I live in the united States of America 2008ad. The whole point of the Revolutionary War and the Constitution was to do away with the tyranny of the British Monarchy and give all the power to the people.
You didn't answer my question, Can you tell me who Caesar is in this country?
And I have a few more:
Can you show me in our body of law, were the public servants elected to represent us are given authority to master over us?
Can you show me the law that makes me liable for federal income tax?
Because a gov't attorney from the DOJ representing the IRS couldn't show a jury of my peers were it was?

Every time and place in which we live has governmental rule. The passage applies to every government.

"Caesar" in our country is a conglomerate of state and federal officials.

I am not a lawyer but I do know people are in jail for tax evasion. That is a risk our Bible says not to take. We are to honor those in authority over us.
