Having struggles with my wife. Long story. (She's not leaving me, so no concern there.) Certain members on here are now aware of my situation. Pretty much shes placed a major roadblock up that can restrain my fellowship with Online Baptist which I really need at this point. Pray it works out for me. Thanks.

You have my Prayers as well TS. Don't let anything come between you and your wife brother. Even if fellowship with the OB has to be laid aside, do it.

I know I agree. I love my wife, but God should come first. She don't believe in God so I shouldn't either is her view. Theres no one else at this point. I can really talk to about God, and the Christian Life. Still working on getting hooked up in a church. Could get worse I know. Just Frustrating ........

Praying for you my brother :pray

Scripture is clear that if we put God first, He will help with and provide all the rest.

Trust the Lord, take everything to Lord in prayer...constantly...continually.

Never stop or pause your personal walk with Christ and efforts to grow in Christ. There is no "neutral" in the Christian life. Either we are living for Christ and growing in the Lord (even if we can only detect the tiniest bit of growth) or we are becoming stagnant and falling backwards.

Seek first the kingdom of God. Draw nigh unto the Lord and He will draw nigh unto you. Pursue the Lord with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. God will honour your sincere efforts to obey Him and live for Him and He will work in the heart and mind of your wife.

I agree with you. I can as a human fall backwards but in my hearts desire I can't allow myself to. I will still make mistakes, but if we confess them he is faithful and just to forgive us them as he says in his word. In the initial situation though was a situation of faith, such as I believe in the Lord, and she believes in whatever is Wiccian. So she saying to me what she thinks is right so it becomes what is. I'm right, you're wrong, end of story. Thats the way the situation went. I can not be shaken or she may never believe in the Truth.

True Wiccan "philosophy" (or whatever they call it) is basically that everyone has to find their own path. Their beliefs state that "do as you will but harm none". Your wife, if she holds to these Wiccan "codes", should respect your "path" and that you are doing your own thing.

I used to know more about this stuff but it's been several years since I've dealt with any of these people.

Keep pursuing growth in Christ, read Scripture daily, pray often and trust God.

Interesting, John. I didn't know that. :thumb Well...it will make life here in the suburbs easier with this in mind. We have sooo many strange beliefs around here. The house at the top of my street is all decorated for Halloween...I mean "really" decorated. I am praying for these folks. Ya, know?

Praying for you and your family...Truthseeking. :pray :bible:

Proverbs 3: 5-6...5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct (Or make smooth or straight) thy paths. KJV 1611 AV.
