Brr its chilly! This afternoon our house was down to 64 degrees (what it usually is after a chilly night) so went ahead and turned on some low heat for the kids...especially Levi (14 mos) who can't keep blankets on!

We used to see how long we could go before turning on the heat, but now with younger kids we try to keep it at least decently warm (not hot) so that they can sleep at night. Last night Levi woke up and I changed his diaper and even his legs, inside his sleeper, were cool. So tonight I layered him and then we turned the heat on (it still has a chill though, but not downright cold).

I assume when they are teens we will just say "Go put more clothes on" like my dad always did. haha.

Yep, kids and their ages makes a big difference. We are past the middle of October so it's really not too early for some to have their heat on. There have been some years when the heat needed to be on sooner. The wind makes a big difference too. We haven't had much wind so that's helped and there has been sunshine which helps warm the place up during the day. That'll all change soon enough. :sad

Brrr...is right. I have a blanket on me right now. I love this weather, though.

Keep the little ones warm, Suzy. You don't want 4 sick boys these next few months. Sick kids are no fun. :badday:

Yep, it's cold here in Ohio, too!! I wore a sweater to church today and that still wasn't enough to keep me warm!

Actually cold kills germs! But true, I always dread sick season. Although this summer was worse than the previous winter as far as sickness. There was a REALLY nasty respiratory virus that went around here July/August.

I wore a sweater with sleeveless t-neck shell underneath...I can't layer at church too much or I get HOT!!!! I think it was kinda breezy today, which is probably why the house is so cool.

What was awful was how warm it was in church after I got used to the freezing weather outside... I was wishing I wore a jacket instead of a sweater so I could be wearing something short-sleeved in church! :Bleh

Oh...not in our church. We have 1 floor. My pastor is extremely conservative. The temperature was just right. Body temperature that is. haha. I don't know when he will put the heat on? He is too funny. :-)
