After reading my posts all you got was I wanted rides to DR> apts? Please read what I wrote --all of it. By the way I drive and have been I was trying to make a point. It seems to me you completely missed it. In a nutshell it's loving our brethren and love (Christ way) is action and produces fruit. :2cents :sad :pray

I got your point, but I referring to little tasks such as that. doing little things can go a long way. Helping others in the simpliest way. I had way too many people who told me no, they couldn't take me, help me, etc. I learn to depend on myself.

5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Heb 13:5 (KJV)

Right, our Lord will never forsake us. The best of mankind may have very good intentions, but yet fail. Many times when we do fail we actually do not mean to. I figure many be much like myself, absent minded. For me, it may be getting a bit worse with each new year that comes around.

Plus, sometimes problems will come up that will get in our way, some of them probably should not. We all must remember, we're just humans, and we all will mess up, but lets try not to make a habit of it.

I recall severally years back I had been visiting a young woman who had cancer for about 2 years. One afternoon the doctor had put me on some new medicine control pain, no it was not narcotics, but it made my stomach very upset, and just after I had emptied my stomach I got a call that she had died. I thought to self, can I go, will my stomach let me go, just a moment Jerry, you've got to go, you've got to go right now, they need you right now. I rushed around and took off over to their house, while driving to their house I said prayer asking my Lord to get me thru this, to settle my stomach. As I got out of my blazer and walked towards their house I started feeling a bit better. By the time I got inside I was feeling much better, I stayed with them for several hours and all was well. They offered me food and drink, but I feared putting anything at all in my stomach. As soon as I got home and in the house it all hit me once again, sick as a dog. I had taken 2 of those pills, never taken another one, but the good Lord got me thru that afternoon where I could be with a family that needed me.

Pixie, I'm not saying this to you, so please, please don't take it that I saying this to you, but I want to express this thought.

I have come across several who are this way. They hold others to a standard they them self are not cabable of.

Jerry I"ve learned to expect nothimg from anyone. I will the Lord and take care care of all I can. If people cann't understand I will miss a church service because of this then that's their problem not mine. I expect nothing from others I find it's just easier==Your sister in Pixidust
