Members No Nicolaitans
I have a friend who was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's disease a couple of years ago. It hit him hard and fast, and he has really gone downhill quickly. When he was diagnosed, he knew it was a death sentence. I was able to lead him to the Lord, and he asked me if I would perform his funeral when the time came. Through it all, he has had incredibly good spirits and a great attitude despite all of his problems. Tonight, his dad called me. My first thought was that he had passed away; however, that's not the case...yet. His dad was broken-hearted and asked me to go spend some time with my friend if possible. I don't know exactly what happened, but apparently his time is drawing near. He said that it's impossible to understand him when he talks now, but just having me there would be a tremendous help to him. I told him that I would gladly make the time (I'll have to travel a little to see him). Please be in prayer for... 1. My friend "Brent" 2. His dad 3. Me (that I can minister to him and be a comfort and a blessing)

Members JerryNumbers
I understand what your going though, & yes, many times just being there is what counts. I've been trying to get that across to several people. They will say, "I don't know what to say." Even when they may not be able to talk to you, your presents is a great thing, & it can be helpful to family members too. Prayers.
