I'm the daughter, niece, sister, and mother of vets. I, too, thank all of you who here who have served our country. I know she isn't what she once was, but I still love her dearly, and I am grateful for those who have offered their lives (signing up is effectively doing that) in her service.

Grandson, son, son-in law, brother-in law,great-nephew, nephew, cousin of vets and a vet myself. (we span War between the States to Gulf War). Many Cherokee warriors in my family history, but don't reckon ya'll figure that counts (when the Brit colonisst sought to have my people make peace with their enemies the response was "If we make peace with ALL our enemies, what will we do for our favorite pastime?)
