The Egyptians practiced embalming and because of that fact, you could rigthtfully say that most of us today follow thier "model"; a model of pagan idolaters. So I don't know about a model....but the Bible does make a statement......
Genesis 3:19.......dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

For many, if there is not a 'Thu shalt not .........................., its not in the Bible. I think the there is a very good reason that God did not included within the Bible every 'Thou shalt not,

Right you are John! I believe the one time cremation was mentioned and done to someone God cursed them for doing so. Like cremation, this is another ploy to separate man from God.

Am I reading this right? They dissolve this tissue in the liquid and then dump it into our water system? I don't care if tests show there is no DNA. That is disgusting.

Egyptians didn't cremate their dead, they buried them, which is what the Bible puts forth, as has been shown through many verses of Scripture. Embalming is simply something done as a part of the preparation for burial.
