God surely has been good to us. I truly can see His hand work in our lives abundantly. He has provided at every turn while we've been traveling, He has worked His will in our lives. There were times when things didn't go as planned and it was frustrating but in the end it worked out for the better because it was His will. Sometimes it's been hard to trust Him when the flesh gets in the way but it's getting easier to put our faith in Him as He continues to show us He really is working in our lives.

Just wanted to share that small bit about our travels. We've finally arrived to Maryland. We asked God to provide a place to stay that would be somewhere we could call home for awhile. Just found out two days ago we'll be getting the house we moved out of when we left here 3 years ago. This might seem weird but it's a tremendous blessing. It has been the best house we've lived in since being in the military and we only got to stay there for a few months before getting orders to Germany. God is great.

A wise man once told me that us humans makes plans just so they can be broken. I believe him. That's quite neat, getting the same house, wow, can't beat that.

When I came back from Guam in early 69 we could not find no place to live that we like the least bit. The place we finally got had rats and squirrels running in and out everywhere, it was a old dilapidated duplex. We hated living there, but we had to have a place.

A week later my wife had come and picked me up at work, upon leaving the air base and turning left back towards town, about 1 miles down the road we saw a little sign that said for rent. It was a 60 X 10 foot trailer with a 4 foot extension on the living room. After walking through it we said, "We will take it."

It all turned out quite good, when we told the person we had rented the other place from they figured out our rent and gave us money back. I figured they would keep it, and or maybe even want more. We loved the trailer, it was quite close to the base, and it was stuck in between two house and they become great neighbors.

Its quite neat when things can work out so good, I know there has to be help from above.

Hope all will keep going very good for you and family!

I've been praying every day for your safe return to the states and safe travels while visiting relatives in Tx. Continuing until you say stop.

I surely appreciate it, I know those prayers have indeed helped. We have arrived safely and had a great visit with our relatives...thank you.

We stayed in a small town in Oklahoma (Antlers) while visiting my in laws and there is only one IFB church there within about 80 miles or so. They are looking for a Pastor and hurting badly spiritually so they asked me to preach Sunday school for them. It was a tremendous blessing and a honor to do that.
