On again, last I heard.

If this man is a Christian, his jOB is to preach the gospel to these people, nothing else.


Here here. I've been reading through the posts in this topic, and it is OBvious that there is a lot of passion here. Islam and the Quoran are two topics that many are very passionate about, but it all boils down to what the bible has told us we are to do, as individuals and as churches. The command is clear:

"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to OBserve all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway °, even unto the end of the world. Amen." Matthew 28: 18-20

There is nothing in there about burning books of false doctrine. The only time the bible talks about taking action against false doctrine is when it makes it's way into the church. And even then, it's the Word of God that drives the false doctrine out. The Word of God has more power in it than the act of burning a book ever will. Edited by UrbanChristian
