Carter and Clinton both followed similar policies as their predecessors and those who followed them. There was not a lot of difference between the Carter and Reagan policies and the Clinton and Bush policies. None turned America into an outright friend of Israel though Reagan personally was likely the most pro-Israel in his views.

While OBama is attempting to push the limits and is OBviously much more pro-Muslim than his predecessors, he's still following the path set by previous presidents. Even so, OBama is much less a friend of Israel than any previous president and coupled with his much more pro-Muslim stance and beliefs OBama is by far a greater threat to Israel than his predecessors and a much worse president with regards to Israel.

Had not thought about that aspect. I've gotten to the point that I'm very skeptical about what is written about people. I've found that so many of them were not near what they were built up to be. About the only writings I trust is what is written within the pages of the Bible.
