My Hope is not a Hope with a Doubt

Yet many never find this true Hope which many of us have found, they never find the confidence that God has truly given His children, that He wants His children to have. He has showed us through the writings of Paul that this hope is not a hope with a doubt.

2Ti 1:12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

Notice the confidence that Paul expressed to Timothy. It is not a matter of doubt, it is the matter that Paul knows whom He has believed and he knows that which he has committed to the Lord Jesus Christ that He is able to keep it against that day.

We should never say we hope we are Christian, that we hope we are saved, that we hope we will go to heaven. I may say I hope I will go to church tomorrow, I hope that you will go to church. However if we are born again, we know it, we have hope that is filled with confidence. Yet this knowing, this confidence, this hope without a doubt, only come from meeting Christ at the Cross with Him being your Savior. Them we like Paul can be fully persuaded about that day.
