What is a buddy list and why is mine empty?

I'd be your buddy............but I have no idea what a "buddy list" is either. (Let me know when you figure it out. )

I saw the buddy list the other day and also have no clue what it is. I opened it and was going to try and add buddies but didn't have a clue how to.

For right now the buddy list is a quick way for you see if your buddies are online, and makes it a quick way to to send them a PM. You can view your Buddies from the top right corner of all the forums pages.

Your buddies are also listed in your profile.
