Washington (Reuters) - Michigan officials on Wednesday demanded that lawyers who unsuccessfully sued to overturn President Donal Trump's election defeat in the state pay about $200,000 to reimburse for legal fees and related costs. U.S. District Judge Linda Parker ruled last month that state and local election officials in Michigan were entitled to reimbursement of their legal fees, but has not determined the exact amount. Afghanistan is not a country in the way we think of countries. It is a geographical area comprised of a number of tribes. Many of the tribes do not like the other tribes. Historically when there is no outside armies to fight they fight each other. We have seen that already beginning. The Panjshir Valley is located just over 30 miles from Kabul. The Soviets could not take it in the 1980's. The Taliban could not take it in the 1990's. I doubt that we even tried. It is long narrow complex of valleys with only one narrow road entering through a narrow entrance. There will be no peace in Afghanistan. Sure, China likes to see us with a blackeye and problems. But with the Taliban in control this creates problems for China. The Western part of China is filled with non-Han Muslims who hate the Han Chinese. They now have friends in Afghanistan who probably will help them cause trouble. Yeppers... many of us have noticed how over the past 50+ years Tom Turkey has been pushed off the road by the fat man in the bright red suit, flying around with his eight tiny reindeer! LOL The over commercialization of Christmas has gotten way out of hand! My parents Western Wear Store would NEVER allow Thanksgiving to be bypassed. None of the decorations for Christmas at their store came out until BLACK FRIDAY. I'm thankful for that. 🤠 -

Have we fallen short in baptisms? And why are baptisms being used as a measure for how strong churches are? Many pastors have seen the futility and falseness of dunking people just for the numbers? They've come to the realization that people need to understand what baptism is, and in the true discipling of people first. In the days of Christ people understood the implications of being baptized into this new religion called Christianity. They could be kicked out of the synagogues, lose their livelihoods, and even their lives. That's exactly what Saul of Tarsus was doing before he had his encounter with Christ on the road to Damascus. -
