Ohio puts 200-pound third-grader in foster care CLEVELAND (AP) — An Ohio third-grader who weighs more than 200 pounds has been taken from his family and placed into foster care after county social workers said his mother wasn't doing enough to control his weight. The Plain Dealer reports (http://bit.ly/t68M7D ) that the Cleveland 8-year-old is considered severely obese and at risk for such diseases as diabetes and hypertension. My old computer went down again, power supply is once again gone out, I believe this is the 3rd one, this last one was installed on the 11-1-2001, that means it was only 23 days old when it gave up the ghost. I had already bought a computer with Windows Professional & I have it up & running, but I know nothing about it, its familiar, yet it will take some learning. I've been doing a bit of research on psychopathy today - no particular reason, just got the subject stuck in my head. There's not really much out there that looks at the subject from a Biblical perspective. How does the idea of a psychopath - someone who seems to lack the ability to experience empathy, emotions, or to understand the consequences of his actions, and lacks this from a young age - fit with the Biblical explanation of sin and a God-given conscience? Is this 'condition' merely the outward demonstration of an extremely hardened/selfish heart, or is there something else going on there? Do y'all have any thoughts on this?

I know of some people who are involved in some aspects of Bill Gothard's ministry. Something of a missionary aspect in South America where I think they also do some teaching. Just to clarify on the repenting God did when Israel turned from their evil ways. The thing here is that their turning from evil ways here is called... works. So since salvation isnt by works ..and turning from evils ways IS works.. hence the issue with repent meaning 'turn from sin'. So there is what I was meaning. -

Thankfully the pastors I know NEVER STOPPED preaching the gospel. Remember, TGL, they're to preach the whole counsel of God, not just salvation messages. And just to be clear, preaching messages that promote conservative, Biblical values is imperative. Maybe one should let the Holy Spirit guide in what these pastors preach, eh? -

Excellent it’s over, I noticed that many pastors were disturbed, with the elections this year, more than ever before, and they were preaching to reinforcing being a conservative, it was a priority for many preachers, but now that is all over, preaching the gospel for salvation should take its place.
