Come, ye sinners, lost and hopeless Jesus' blood can make you free For He saved the worst among you When He saved a wretch like me And I know, yes, I know Jesus' blood can make the vilest sinner clean And I know, yes, I know Jesus' blood can make the vilest sinner clean To the faint He giveth power Through the mountains makes a way Findeth water in the desert Turns the night to golden day In temptation He is near thee Holds the pow'rs of hell at bay Guides you to the path of safety Gives you grace for ev'ry day He will keep thee while the Ages Roll throughout eternity Though earth hinders and hell rages All must work for good to thee Father make wa…

My days are numbered. I will rather die for christ and live forever happy. If christ was crucified. Whom am I to complain in suffering? I have the impression the saints are all gone home. We are all living the great tribulation. Beloved, the pain is too much. Pray that the lord help me. I stand with Isaiah 43:2 It baffles me to see how the world is praying and fellowships with Christians in Isreal. It has. been 8 years of terror, pains, hunger and homelessness in Cameroon. My prayer has been that God should take me home to rest but he keeps postponing my stay in the wicked world VID-20240211-WA0056.mp4

If what we are going through is because of our sins, the sins of our fathers and our forefathers. Let the mercy of God triumph over judgment. In Exodus 25 when God asked Moses to construct the Ark, he said " put inside the, the law and put beside the law, the rod that those who break the law, the rod will be use on them. He said onto of the ark, put a mercy seat, sitting on the law with two cherubim facing each other with the hands of prayers with ther wings spread over the mercy seat. I am sitting on the mercy sit with the hands of prayer. May the lord have mercy on me and give me manners. Worms are running in my stomach.

So once again, sickness has made its way through our church. Son and hubs are pretty much over it, I am still really struggling, one of the men has pneumonia, other members have other issues - all respiratory. Second month in a row. I have a respiratory thing going on, as well as having recovered from a third onslaught of another infection (third in 4 months). I've missed church all of last week. The way I'm feeling right now I'll be missing Sunday as well. Please pray for me and for our church. This cold snap along with the sickness has really been not good. Thanks.

This has been a week full of care for our family. It seems that sickness has been such a hard hitter . It's at this time where I know that the power of prayer is most important in the Christian Life. So I am laying these requests out for prayer knowing that people here will pray. The first prayer request is for my wife Vivian. Last week she had an appointment with my cardiologist to get clearance for surgery on her knee. They ran an EKG on her and found that she may have several blockages in her heart. They cleared her for surgery if she wanted to have the surgery on her knee first, but put the proposal before her to have an echocardiogram and a stress test before s…

Please be in prayer for our church's annual Christmas program where we serve the Indonesian community. This year we will have the service on December 17th. We are learning a song in Indonesian and are preparing for a large crowd of adults and children. The pastor and some church members have built up a good reputation with the Indonesian community over the years and some came to the church barbeque back in September. Also please pray for us as we try to find more ways to minister to them throughout the year. For a bit of background, here in Taiwan, many people from poorer Asian countries such as Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, etc. come to Taiwan to work and send m…

So a gentleman came to church last Wednesday while still sick with C*vid. Saturday my son got sick and still is. By Monday another man in the church tested + for it (I don't know if that's what Josh has). Monday night I got sick, Tuesday my mom did, now Asher has a fever, and another man in the church is getting sick. Tonight my husband is at church alone. Because too many people are sick. Please pray for us.

Please pray for the Rinehart family. Mr. M. Rinehart went to be with the Lord today. It was not unexpected, but there is still grief. The three Rinehart children (now grown and with grown children of their own) attended college in IN and that is how we met them. The daughter, Jennifer, married one of my former students, Dan Armacost, who became dean of the college. Last spring Dan and Jennifer went into full time deputation for the field of Myanmar. It looks like they will be heading to Myanmar this spring! Please lift the family in prayer as they walk this new path.

I am here once again to ask for prayers for both my wife and myself. We went to the Orthopedic surgeon on Monday morning. After X-rays on her knee, and then my shoulder we were told that Vivian has a torn meniscus and needs an MRI, and possibly surgery. I have something called "frozen shoulder." I have been referred to Benchmark Physical therapy. I was told that I also may have to have surgery. It seems that we have been being hit right and left with physical challenges this past 18 months, but, we know the Great Physician. We would appreciate your prayers as we walk through this valley. Thanks in advance. BT

On Sunday Typhoon Haikui, a category 3 typhoon, hit Taiwan. This is the first typhoon to directly impact Taiwan in four years, and it has caused quite a bit of damage. The path of the storm went directly over the little village my parents used to live, and I currently live about 30 minutes south, so we got the brunt of the storm. Several praises: I'm fine and my house wasn't damaged too badly, the tiles from a neighbors house did some damage to my overhang and there is a leak in one of the bedrooms, but otherwise that's it. The pastor I'm working under, Pastor Pan and his wife Deana are living in the house my parents used to own. The house is fine (although without p…

It seems like when it rains, it pours...we had sad news this past weekend. Our niece in Pittsburgh received a visit from the Pittsburgh Police department on Sunday morning. Her ex was killed in a motorcycle accident, and another man was severely injured. Our ex nephew in law died at the scene. There was no alcohol involved on his part, and toxicology hasn't been released yet on the other man. My niece has remarried and their daughter uses the new husbands last name... she's only 10...but, she's taking her father's death exceptionally hard. He was not saved. So, it's doubly sad all around. My niece and her family are not saved either. We've been praying that this, combined…

My niece had her beautiful baby boy yesterday, after a very hard labor and having to be induced. Leaving out the gory details, it took them 4 minutes to get him breathing on his own. This morning they were very concerned about his low oxygen. This hospital does not have a NICU, so they have airlifted him to University of Washington Hospital in Seattle. PLEASE pray for my grand nephew. And please pray that each person involved will allow God to do the work in their lives that He wants to (salvation for several of them). Thank you from the bottom of my weeping heart.

Brother Jim's surgery is complete. I will post updates here as I get them from his wife. Please be sure to pray for her as well. First - "I am beyond exhausted, but I know many are waiting to hear how Jim's surgery went. The surgery went very well. They ended up doing a quadruple bypass. The Doctor said his heart was like brand new in how it functions now ? - However, the last I heard he hasn't woke up. They did a CT scan to see if there was anything wrong that would keep him from waking up. But they said they didn't know how long it would be before the doctor would read them and get back to me. So, I chose to go home because we have a dog that needs take…

So the Wed before Christmas the pipes in the well house froze and broke. Hubs worked on them and fixed them, only to find another leak...here we are two weeks later and a plumber was finally able to come. There is massive damage. We had the tank replaced, but the workers didn't insulate the pipes they replaced (not their responsibility), and we didn't think about it. The Tues/Wed before Christmas we had the lowest temps around here that there've been in quite a number of years. Happily, we are able to get water from the church, and we can shower there as well. However, it is a lot of work and inconvenience. Mom is in her 80s, so it's hard on her as well. …

A friend and pastor from Joliet, Illinois, Dr. Dale Steenhoven, was in the hospital these past few days. They took a biopsy of a growth on his neck, and they believe it to be lymphoma. They're not sure how treatable this is if it is cancer, but, I'm sure that he would appreciate your prayers. Brother Steenhoven has been the pastor of a Baptist church in Joliet Illinois for over 40 years, being it's founding pastor. Thank you in advance for your prayers as we wait for the results of the biopsy. BT

I would like to ask for prayer from my OB family regarding my upcoming triple heart by-pass surgery. There is no firm date for this surgery, but it will happen soon. Last week the docs tried a procedure to put in stents, but it was unsuccessful, so a triple heart by-pass is needed. Please pray with and for me.

My wife and I are facing a legal matter right now. We are having to sue a contractor in our area for not performing services paid for. He was highly recommended by Angi (Angis List) and NetWorx. We've had our attorney in contact with him and his brother for the last five months, and they have stated several times that they would pay part of it "on Friday" but each Friday has come and gone without any payment. The attorney has said he will be filing suit for us when he gets back from vacation. So, Monday will start something we never wanted. These brothers claim to be Christians, but, this makes me doubt that. Please pray these brothers take responsibility and pay up. …

I started my pulmonary rehab this past Tuesday. I've got at least 18 weeks, and more could be tacked on if needed. The first two sessions have come and gone, and I was told on Thursday my breathing is erratic. They are wanting me to have the echocardiogram sooner than July 14, but we haven't been able to get it moved up. They have made me start using something called a "peak flow meter." This measures how much air I can blow out. I need to be at a minimum of 365 and a max of 435. I have to inhale and blow air out of my mouth into this meter and mark down the results of the three times I do it. I also have to do this several times a day. The last four attempts. Yesterday I…

My baby sister is in urgent need of prayers. Seven weeks ago she moved out of her house leaving her husband of fifteen years, her daughter, and her grandson. She is on the city council of the town we grew up in, and she lost her bid for mayor of that town in April. She has, up until that time, been a wonderful Christian example. She had been having meetings with another council member over the past four months, and around ten weeks ago she moved out of her bedroom to the room across the hall. My -in-law has told us that there were hours long phone conversations between this council member and my sister, and that my sister had become detached and distant. She didn't attend…

June 2, 2023 This morning my sister called me to inform me that a family friend (and distant relative of my wife) had tried to murder his girlfriend, shooting her in the abdomen, and then committed suicide. He used to work with my brother-in-law Al in the Augusta/Richmond County, GA sheriff's office. He owned the funeral home that handled my wife's grandparents, parents, my father's, and several other family members' funerals. His father was the Columbia County, GA coroner for 34 years and was the coroner who handled my grandfather's death when he passed away in 1993. We've known this family for years (and as stated, my wife is a distant relative). My brother-in-la…

I have a follow up appointment with the orthopedic surgeon on Monday morning. He doesn't think I will need surgery, but he's stated that I'll probably need extensive therapy to regain some of the use of my left arm. I am a little apprehensive about going through another long period of therapy only to once again being disappointed. It's all in the Lord's hands. Then, on May 28th I have the rest of the teeth in my mouth pulled and will be getting my immediate dentures. I kept my teeth longer than both of my parents, which I praise the Lord for. I'm sort of nervous, as I have had some very bad experiences at the dentist office over the years. They're going to have to "t…

We got a sad call from one of my hubs' brothers tonight (he has 4 living, 1 in Glory) that one of our sisters-in-law had either had a stroke or heart attack and they were working on trying to revive her. In about 30 minutes, we received another call that she had gone on to Glory. She leaves behind a very ill husband, kids, grandkids (and I think a great-grand). She was my matron of honor at our wedding, and her hubs stood up with my hubs. Please pray for my BIL Jerry, their kids, and the rest of the family. This came totally out of the blue. As it stands now, it doesn't look like we will be able to head back east (to OH) for the funeral. (Here in WA, we ha…
