We had 12 kids in the nursery. We just found out tonight that there is a couple in our church that have volunteered to become directors of the Kidz Club part of RU (since no one wanted to do the nursery other than ourselves, we said we would do nursery if someone else would do the Kidz Club). So, starting sometime mid-November, we should have that part of the ministry up and running. This will help with nursery aspect since we have kids from under 1 to 13 years old in the nursery right now.

Thank you Lord Jesus for helping my loved ones and me. May the Lord also give Online Baptist Forum members His peace this Christmas. Psalm 56:10 says, "In God I will praise His Word: in the Lord will I praise His Word." Truly, truly, the Lord's Word is to be praised!

I Timothy 2:1-2 says, "I exhort therefore, that first of all supplications, prayers, interecessons, and giving of thanks , be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty." On this Fourth of July, let us pray for our great country and for all those who are in positions of authority in this great land. Let us also pray for the Presidential election that God's will be done in His choice of who leads this land of His!

My wife had an appointment with the doctor today to discuss her knee problem and possible surgery. I've been praying the Lord would heal my wifes knee and that we would receive good news at the doctors office today. We had already been told there was a tear in her knee and the doctor also worried there might be some looseness around the kneecap. The doctor informed us that the MRI shows that there is NO tear and there is NO looseness! The doctor says she has a sprain and some tendinitis and bursitis. He gave her a shot in the knee and said the problem should clear up. Praise and glory to God the Father for His love, mercy and grace!

I was just thinking how refreshing it is to get on here at OB. The devil's ugly, the world is wicked, but God is so very good. He moved the heart and mind of those here to develop OB and keep this site going. It truly is a place where I feel edified. I thank God for it.

Praise God for His goodness. About a year and a half ago I became the Pastor of a church that was about to go under. God has seen us through some very tough times. I have had to hold down two other part time jobs to make ends meet so I have not had a lot of extra time to spend on my pastoring duties. But God has shown Himself great on our behalf over and over again. Praise to His Holy Name

I just wanted to Praise God for this past Sunday morning. Our church is currently in transition with finding a new pastor. We have an interim pastor who has been convicted lately and the conviction of the Holy Spirit payed off. Last week our worship leader and interim pastor had felt that God has been moving lately and during our service, the pastor changed the message. There was a long altar call, but nobody moved. Well, the Holy Spirit tormented several people to make decisions after the service. Yesterday, we had 3 adults come forward, who thought they were saved at a young age, and realized they weren't, we had 2 adults and 1 high school student re-dedicate their…

I just wanted to give a big shout out to God for helping me win the spelling bee. I'm not usually that great of a speller, but I think the Lord really caused my opponents to make a lot of mistakes.

I don't know why I didn't do this yesterday... I just want to give Jesus thanks for saving my soul and giving me the Holy Spirit to let me be born again by spirit. I grew up in the Charismatic movement (Pentecostal-Holiness to be exact) and although I had been baptized and "saved" many times... I realized that I never truly KNEW Christ. "I knew all the fish in the creeks by name, but I didn't know the Fisherman" was the phrase I told my friend as I began realizing this. I have also dabbled in the occult before I was saved and know just how demonic the occult is and pray for those involved. I just want to give Jesus praise for saving my soul! I'm heaven-bound and p…

Praise God for His acceptance of us in the beloved. Philippians 3:14 says, "I press toward the mark for ther prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." Our prize will be when we see Him face to face, which in my opinion will be very soon. We shall be rewarded by Him if we have served Him in His Spirit and in His love.

In the Word of God, the Scripture says that Jesus Christ is known by His name I Am that I Am. Jesus Christ was the preincarnate Son who has existed from all eternity. Thanks be unto His name forever and forever!

of Online Baptist. This month has been very unique. LOL. I wanted to give a "shout out" to all the Christian men on Online Baptist. The Lord Jesus Christ has certainly blessed this site with compassionate, confident, faithful, productive, strong, zealous, men...that serve Our Great God and Saviour from various like-minded faiths. Keep up the good job men. You know that you are our leaders in this country and world. :thumb Please...stay strong, but remember...to "lift" one another up in these times of trials and tribulations. I am certain that others will follow you as you continue the walk in the Christian faith. Women and children look to you for leadership…

I love the holiday of Labor Day! I love the change of hot weather to cooler weather, and i love to go on a trip to the mountains of North Carolina at that time. I plan on taking my two sons with me on that trip. Also, I love the change from suummer to autumn, which is my favorite season. James 1:17 says, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." I praise the Lord for every day, but especially Labor Day which happens to be my favorite day. Labor Day is not to be confused with Ramadan which is not an American holiday.

Praise the Lord most of all for the sacrificial gift of His Son on Calvary who died for us and rose again to justify before God. Romans 5:1 says, "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through the Lord Jesus Christ."

Praise the Lord and pray for His very soon return. With the Russians invading Georgia and threatening to atttack Poland, the Iranians threatening to extinguish Israel, and the slaughter of unborn babies by the millions should cause us to pray for the very soon return of our Lord. II Timothy 5:4 says, "Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that day; and not to me only, but unto all them also that love His appearing." I do not know everything about prophecy, but I do know that I am looking, watching, and waiting for His return! I hhop e you are also!

Nicholasville, KY is a very small city, with cheerful people, and sweet place to live. I walk up and down main street all the time to go to work, with a gas station I always look at to see what the price is ($3.51 here!). There is also another thing I spot out all the time walking, a graveyard, Mable Grove Graveyard. Never been in one, so I never knew what the experience was like. But one day, that changed. God was on my heart to go to it, to take a walk through the park, but not during the day time......... during night! So I did as was told, and trust me... first time through, yea I was scared, but God told me He was protecting me. I didnt run in no one, no homel…

A Wonderful Praise Report For Our Nation

Today was the first day of my church Revival. When the evangelist preached, he told us that the country of Korea has a burden for American churches. They are the first country, he said---that is sending missionaries to the USA, in this present day. They are so concerned with America and it---"going down the tubes" that they are sending missionaries to us? How beautiful. :smile This brings me so much hope. We've sent them out to other nations and Korea is the first country to give back to us---what is rightfully God's Holy word. I know the Lord of Lords and King of Kings always takes care of EVERYTHING. I ALWAYS have hope. :thumb
