Hi Everyone, My name is Dave and I'm a Christian trucker. I was one of those fortunate individuals who was raised in Baptist churches, so I accepted Christ as a child. Like most Christian kids with that background, I did go through a short period of "doing my own thing", but then got straightened out and went to Bible College. For the past 20 plus years, I have been an owner/operator in the household moving business, moving people around the country.

Hello all, My name is Jason. I am a former "Charismatic" preacher who has recently put his heart in the right place. Not to throw all my dirty laundry out here in cyberland, but I will share a bit of my testimony so you get a feel of who I am. About 2 years ago, my daughter decided to take the dark road in her life. She was 15. I was on pastoral staff of a decent size church, caught up in all the hype of "tongues", "glory clouds", "slaying in the spirit", yada yada. Well hello everyone!!!! I have tried to be a IFB and will stand firm with the teachings of the KJB. I tend to be a worldly girl and somehow lose track of my fathers mission. I have been saved for 15 years. I was a member of a very small IFB church in my area. Theres the key word....Was!!!! I grew up in a Methodist family and was taught well considering the shape of society these days. As a child I was believer but found the church rather dull and the old ladies mean...lol.. Hi Everyone! Happy to say that the Lord saved me 3 years ago this past January! Now, my husband and I are busy serving the Lord and raising our 3 children to do the same. We go to a very small IFB KJV church in eastern PA, and I would love to find some other christian moms to fellowship with. I homeschool my oldest (he's in 8th grade), and my 2 girls will be homeschooled, too, once they're old enough. Really looking forward to the discussions and fellowship!

I've been looking for an online community where I can learn and understand more about the Bible and where I can fellowship with other Christians. I'm getting ready to retire and my primary goal is to make my life more Christ-centered. Life is so noisy and so hectic it's a real struggle for me to keep my eyes and thoughts on Him. Hello. Have been reading alot of articles and sermons and doctrine on this website since I joined and finally had some time to say hello. My family and I have been IFB Baptist for the last two years. We had been in another church for a number of years dwindling and not growing in our faith. The Lord led us to wonderful IFB church that emphasizes God's word via the KJB. I just found you as a result a Google search for "KJV Forum", praise God. I trusted in Jesus Christ as my Lord & Saviour about 18 years ago, and after that I got straight into an Independent Baptist Church and started growing in the Lord...I've never looked back, God is very good ALL the time, amen. Hello:) im here today to help people reach our loving God. i am so blessed and overjoyed by the love of God. I plan on becoming a missionary. Whereever God sends me, it doesnt matter if it is in a different country or right inside of America. Its time for us to give back to God for all the things He has given to us. I am in love with Jesus Christ. i find myself incredulously amazed that someone would actually have so much unconditional love for people like us who have done so many unruly things. He weeps for us. Basically taken straight from my "About Me" A Soldier in the US Army for about 10 years. Currently in Afghanistan and will be home after the New Year. I am a born again, baptized believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. Met the Lord when I was a 9 year old little girl - 41 years ago. Many years ago I came across a sermon an IB preacher named Gary Dice when he visited Australia, and from memory he was preaching on this passage, or at least referencing it. He sang a slightly silly song about this section of Romans 7, but I have never been able to find any reference to it anywhere else. I would appreciate it if anyone has heard of it and could give me a reference or link to it, or best case, the sheet music. I know there are many songs that come up when you do a google search, but none of them have been the one I am looking for. It has the words almost direct from the KJV, not just something loosely based on that text. Thanks folks. -

I also noticed he seems quieter, perhaps more humble this time. But even last time I had come to view his particular tendency to boast as just having an immensely positive attitude. He's also careful to thank others and to offer credit where credit is due, while having no compunctions about calling out anyone who deserves none. -

Just to clarify on the repenting God did when Israel turned from their evil ways. The thing here is that their turning from evil ways here is called... works. So since salvation isnt by works ..and turning from evils ways IS works.. hence the issue with repent meaning 'turn from sin'. So there is what I was meaning. -

Thankfully the pastors I know NEVER STOPPED preaching the gospel. Remember, TGL, they're to preach the whole counsel of God, not just salvation messages. And just to be clear, preaching messages that promote conservative, Biblical values is imperative. Maybe one should let the Holy Spirit guide in what these pastors preach, eh?
