Whosoever Loveth And Maketh A Lie

Revelation 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

The above should be a sOBering thought for all who read it. It should be a challenge for all to "think before you speak," and to "look before you leap."

One group teaches that there is not a verse in the entire Bible where God commands Gentile Converts to faith in Christ to tithe their money.

Another group teaches that God's Word commands Gentile Converts to give a tithe of money to the Church.

One of the two groups is making and loving a lie. Both can't be right

This sOBering thought should cause all peoples on both sides of the fence to be as the Bereans of the first century AD, who searched the Scriptures "to see if it was so." Our teachings and beliefs should be in perfect harmony with God's Holy Word. If not, our teachings and beliefs should change. God's Word is truth and abides for ever.

Matthew 7:21 (KJV) 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 7:22 (KJV) 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Matthew 7:23 (KJV) 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
