:thumb :clap: When my grandfather was a principle of a public school he used to always leave the door open last day of school before Christmas break and go to every classroom to give each and every child a KJV Bible by the Gideons. Took hours but He knew even then he could get in trouble but what the Lord thought mattered more. Public school is not an option for Christians!!! I even struggle with Christian school idea. We did Christian school til 3rd grade then there was such conviction I begged my husband to allow me to homeschool. He said I had to show him how I was going to overcome 5 obsticles and then he would allow me homeschool our son. All 5 seemed impossible to overcome!! I told not one person these 5 things my husband had set in frount of me to overcome. I prayed and prayed and prayed and one by one someone would say "How are you going to homeschool with this problem? I would reply honestly I don't know. They would offer to take care of that. All the way thru the 5 items the Lord provided. I came to my husband and showed him how these 5 things would be provided for and he said "Then it's His will." So we homeschooled from 4th grade until he graduated from High school. He's in college this year and made the dean's list. But the neatest thing for me is when he calls me late because he's been street preaching and is soooo excited. He said to me "All I know is I want to do this for the rest of my life!" Public School isn't working towards serving the Lord so isnt sending your children there mean your unequally yoked?

When we first considered homeschooling it seemed impossible. I remember sitting down and trying to figure out our budget if we homeschooled and no matter how I figured it the numbers showed we couldn't do it. However, after much prayer we determined we had to trust the Lord because He never commands us to do something that we can't do. Praise God, like always, God has provided the way! I still can't explain it because on paper it still seems impossible, but somehow the Lord has worked it out so we can homeschool and still have all our needs met.
