Considering we all have the option of posting in what forums we choose, as well as considering the fact that sometimes there are some decent discussions in a couple of the fun and games threads, I don't see why they shouldn't count.

Other than maybe a new arrival trying to lose their newbie status, is there really that much posting in the fun and games forum simply to elevate ones count?

For myself, the Fun and Games forum is often a stress reliever. Too often many of the other forums are filled with arguing/debating, personality conflicts or such like which tend to damage an otherwise calm spirit. Posting in the Fun and Games forum can be uplifting and therefore very worthwhile and much more than just "useless posts" as some might think.

There is also a small intellectual challenge to some of the games which can keep the brain active as well.

I don't view the Fun and Games forum as a "lesser forum" where posts might not be worthy of counting.
