Its supposedly today only...my uncle sent this to me. I guess this website has daily free software offers. I did go ahead and download this one, it looked good and I didn't have one. Signed up for the email updates to the website too.

Yes, I check http://www.giveawayoftheday.com every day. Their software is only available for download that day, but the activation is free, and it is not a demo version. I even link to their site from my blog - pretty cool stuff. Today, it is some kind of audio editor.

There are several, free, nice PDF converters available that you don't have to gove your email address to get. I'm using PrimoPDF now, but have used other on other computers.

Although still somewhat alpha/beta, Openoffice 3 with the PDF plugin can now edit PDF's. That should be nice.
