God our Shield

Tornados and severe weather all about; our towns tornado sirens went off twice, but praise be to God our Shield none of it touched us or even came all that close!

And our Heavenly Father is so wonderful, near sundown the sun showed itself low in the sky and my youngest son and I went out on the porch (it was still windy and raining) and to the east I saw the most perfect, beautiful rainbow I've seen in my entire life. I was literally in awe and praising God.

It was a great opportunity to talk with my youngest about how great God is, remind him of why we have rainbows (he remembered :thumb ) and to share that awesome moment with him and our Heavenly Father. :praise: :godisgood:

My limited vocabulary fails at even coming up with an appropriate adjective to describe His goodness towards such wretched sinners such as us!

God is good!!

I am really encouraged about your ministry to the deaf, My youngest daughter signs and has a great burden for the deaf. I told her about your post and she was encouraged to start a deaf ministry in her church in Watertown NY. Praise the Lord.
