It seems pretty clear a pastor is to be a man and women are not to have authority over men in the local church. I'm talking in an official capacity. Not to say a man should never listen to a woman in church. Paul mentions about "submitting one to another". If two men are arguing in church and a woman tells them to stop they should. But any authority behind that pulpit is to be a man. Sorry ladies.

There's much more than this going on, but, it's still a divisive issue in the SBC churches. Women should never be the Pastor of a church. All that being said not everything needs to become a Theological argument.
