Many questions about books...sooo

Lately, I've seen several questions about books or wanting books, etc. So, I'm hunting a book I would like to buy but, I'm very particular. I want the paperback copy near $40.00 for both volumes.

I don't quite understand.  Are you saying that you are looking to purchase a book from someone that might have a copy because it is difficult to find?

Yes, I want to purchase them but, not the 'rare' difficult to find kind, a paperback reprint would be fine. I would like to get it without personal notes or torn pages.

As long as both volumes contain the translation by Henry Reeve. I'll purchase from someone who has them or if someone knows where I can purchase them that would be great.

I want to thank you who provided sites for books. I will look there in the future.

I remembered an old website I used several years back... Project Gutenburg and Christian Classics Ethereal Library. I found the exact book I was looking for from Project Gutenburg. in a downloadable htm format. I have both volumes now, at least in a digital file. I recommend folks look into these sites for historical books on Christianity and more.

They are free, no cost but maybe a donation.

books.google.com is a good place to check too...   Set filter to FREE and then search "Baptist" for bunches of goodies...  old old stuff too.

Here is one example from 1773:  An Appeal to the Public for Religious Liberty by Isaac Backus (if you don't know him you  should!)
