An Answered Prayer

[2 Timothy 4:18]

I plan to give my testimony sometime when I can figure out how to whittle it down to keep it from being too long. This is about a non mistakable act of God that I witnessed in my life once. When I was about the age of 28, on my job I was paired up with a man that was probably in his late 50's. This man cussed like a sailor and I had been working with him as his helper for a few months. I was just beginning to get my life back in Gods will. I had started back going to church, and wanted to get my life straightened out, which is just the beginning of another story. Anyway, every other word this man said took Gods name in vain and I was very sensitive to it but didn't dare say anything to him. He was 'tight' with the boss, and I was afraid to offend him. I mentioned to my neighbor (who was going to the same church I started going to) how upsetting it was to hear this all day at work and he suggested we pray about it and we did. The next day I go into work and was sent to work with someone else! I never worked with this man consistently day by day again as long as he worked there. I have seen God work in my life, but that particular small miracle stands out as the most obvious work of God I've ever experienced in my life.

Praise God! God answers prayer and helps us in so many ways and it's especially wonderful when we notice this clearly and thank Him for it.
