Possessed IE6 (or 7 whatever I have)

I think I messed up my keyboard or something....I was eating LOL and spilled, but hub tried to clean it for me. Anyway in IE, now this menu at the top keeps popping up and sometimes it flickers so fast I can't do anything on the screen. It seems like what would happen if a key is stuck or something. But none of the other browsers seem affected.

Can a messed up keyboard only affect one type of browser?

I read that some key boards could be washed in the dishwasher. You have to let them dry out for a good while afterwards.

No, I haven't been brave enough to try it with my cordless keyboard.

IE is just naturally slow.

I think it been slow since automatic update downloaded a security and some kind of spyware thing.

If you have function keys, yes. If not... maybe, but I seriously doubt it. Personally, I wouldn't even use IE. It's just slow, very unsecure, and it's windows based(it crashes)... I completely uninstalled IE from all my machines and I'm quite happily using Mozilla Firefox 3.0.1

I have both. IE is very slow like other peeps have stated. Mozilla Firefox 3.0.1 is much better, but it is a lot more sophisticated. At least for me. :smile
