Whose Prayers Answered?

I would agree to a point there, but there comes a time in every case where the wife simply needs to let go and trust her hubby and trust that God is indeed leading him.  If they are both truly seeking God's will, that would be the outcome.

Indeed, if after patient prayer and reflection the husband announces he's sure the Lord is leading them in a certain direction, the wife should support this.

100 % true, & there is no way for us to say, for none of us has ALL the inside information, & we would have to have ALL of the inside information in order to make a decision of what would be right or wrong.

So any speculation saying the husband & or wife is wrong is just pure speculation.

Yet most move for the money never considering their spiritual life & how it may effect their wife & children.

Most Christians I know have moved because of money and career advancement, not because of a direct calling of God to do so.

What's most typical is a person deciding what they want to do, and then asking God and others to support their decision.

I've witnessed countless Christian parents who push their children to attend college, get a degree in some field that pays well, get themselves "established" and then see what happens. They ask for the Lord's blessing on this, but they fail to seek the Lord's will. Some parents even work against their children when a child announces the Lord has called them to something. Parents will often push their children to ignore the calling, at least until after they have got that "all important" college degree and have a really good career going...and then, maybe, they could think about that calling.
