I think this is great. What is the big deal? If you don't like it...don't shop there. To force them to close down is to essentially strip these people of their freedom of speech and freedom of religion. There is a pharmacy on every corner around here anyway....why bellyache about the one you CANT get your soda, candy, and birth control at.... :roll

That's really awesome that the pharmacist is taking a stand like that. Sounds like a great pharmacy to go to if you have a family. Kids really don't need to see condoms on a shelf, it gets them too curious. Also, no soda or candy is great for parents because the kids won't be able to beg them to buy it. :cool

Yeah...I would shop there...of course, they'd run them out of our liberal area.

I think he has the right to do this, but it is very curious to me.

I don't understand why he will not sell birth control if he is pro life. Birth control prevents unwanted pregancies. I just find it odd. The best way to reduce the number of abortions right now is to reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies. One way to do that is teach people to effectively use birth control.

I could understand not selling the morning after pill, but this is odd to me.

Teaching "abstinence" is the way to control unwanted pregnancies.

Actually it stems from believing life begins at conception. It has been documented that birth control pills often prevent ovulation...but another 50% of the time they prevent a fertilized egg...a conceived child...from implanting. Which turns birth control pills into abortion pills over 50% of the time they are used. That is why many pro life pharmacists lump them together. Because they do the same thing...the "morning after" pill is nothing but an extra strength birth control pill.

Not to mention the serious side-effects that it has on the woman.
