Dean Runyon has a tube in his throat that he uses to breathe and can no longer talk but he posted this this morning on facebook:

I heard about a guy that was walking down the road dragging a long rope... Someone stopped and asked, "what's wrong"? He said, "I am SO confused, I don't know if I found this rope or lost my horse". Have a great day TODAY...

"9-year-old Josiah Williams asked Jesus to save him today after taking a gospel tract home and reading it. He brought the tract back to Shannon this evening with his name signed on it. And then he told me that he would be back to church again on Thursday night. What an encouragement! Praise the Lord!"

 

Thank you John81  Dean Runyon is important to my family because he pastored my wife when she was a child, not just because he is now a missionary, he has been faithful for her entire life and continues to be a good example as this saint of God nears, perhaps, the end of his life.

update from his facebook: "We just got back from a long day in Gainsville, Florida... What a blessing to meet my new Cardiologist and find out that he is a Christian. He thanked me for my work and labor... Wow! We spent 2 hours in the clinic, several tests were run and I am cleared for "take off". Tuesday's surgery on my throat is on. Just praying for a safe landing!"
