New DVD player

My wife bought a new DVD player for the kids to have in the van on our trip to Iowa on Friday. She plugged it in to charge the battery, but it won't charge. The player works when plugged into the wall, but not with the battery. Maybe we can exchange it tomorrow, but it was bought on clearance, and we don't know if there were any more left.

does it come with it own rechargable battery, or do you have to buy your own?

It came with its own. Everything is plugged in right, but it won't charge.

Well if all else fails, you can buy a power converter for your car and just plug the player straight into the converter, which plugs into a cigarette lighter.

I mean if you have to leave, and you can't exchange the dvd player. Converters are about $30.

It came with its own converter, also. My wife just called me, and the player doesn't work with it own power cord either. It is going back.

I went in to the store where we got the DVD player and explained about the problem we had with it. They exchanged it with no problem so we were able to have it for the trip. :clap:
