Members JerryNumbers
Rather large trunk over the back tires. The car got totaled out, real good car, no insurance, the fellow said it was to good to junk out. he thought about it for a while, them went to work on it. Did all of this without hardly buying a single item. Says it drives great, gets great gas mileage. The one thing i would be leary of is the as tank. That could be quite dangerous. One thing, you don't see many like this!

Moderators OLD fashioned preacher Posted June 26, 2012 Moderators Share Posted June 26, 2012 It has all state required safety devices (lights, horn [i assume], windshield glass, exhaust system, blinkers) so why not? Because of an exposed fuel tank (literally a "gas tank")? Motorcycles have them too (just shaped differently and closer to the operator)
Members JerryNumbers
Motorcycle has gas tanks, but they do have safety designed into them, that gas can would be a major risk. If he got hit in the read end, it would be a major disaster, that gas can could do some amazing things, & he has not protection of a bumper. Arkansas does not have an inspection law, we did at one time but it was appealed. What will help him is we live in a rural area, around a lagre city they might just stop him from driving it, on the highway.
