Deity and Impeccability

I spoke to a woman for several hours this past weekend about Jesus Christ.

1. She told me Christ was not God, he was God's son, a man.

2. She said His mother was a sinner having a child out of marriage.

3. She said Christ was a sinner because He was tempted.

4. She said the Bible was just a book written by men who could have made mistakes.

We read...
John 10:30 I and my Father are one.
John 10:31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

She said it means God is one God.
I explained why the Jews wanted to stone Him.

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.

4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

She said they're talking about Jesus after reading the above; but, the subject was God not Jesus.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

After this she became assertive and said your not going to attack my faith. I was saved and baptized and I believe Jesus is the Son of God and believe on His name.

Does it matter that she believes Jesus Christ is not God?
Does it matter that she believes Jesus Christ was an imperfect sacrifice for her sins?

It seems that she believes in a different Jesus than is described in the Bible.

The Jesus in the Bible was born of a virgin.

The Jesus of the Bible was both fully man, and God.

The Jesus of the Bible did not sin.

Joh 1:47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

1Pe 2:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

If Jesus sinned, He would not have been the perfect sacrifice, thus unable to save us from our sins.


Sounds as if she is speaking of a different Jesus.
