Latest Posts

I find many times when I click on the little arrow to give me the latest posts that I sometimes get the start of the thread, rather than the unread posts. Is there any reason for this - perhaps a setting I need to change? On a one page thread it is okay - but on a multi-page thread, it is horrible because it is easy to waste time trying to find where you left off.

Sometimes when I click on the link that is in the notifications email sent out that there has been a new reply it take me to the very first post in that topic even if it had 6 to 10 pages of post.

Does not do it all the time, just part time.

When there are multiple pages it gives you a few numbers then "last" Click on last for the latest posts. If you click on last and there are no postings an the last page it gives an error. You will need to past something, then go to "previous to show the latest posts.

I am referring to the arrow on the left of the thread title. When you click on that, you are supposed to go to all unread posts in that thread (ie. Any new posts since you last visited that thread).

On all sites I have been on, that takes you to the first post.

Here, most of the time it takes me to the first unread post.

The arrow is not "Last Post", but rather "last unread posts". It will take you to the beginning if you have not read that thread yet.

Unfortunately, sometimes it is taking me to the beginning of threads I have already read most of.

I have noticed this as well. It usually happens when it has been at least a week since I have read in a thread.
