Prayer for a friend in trouble

A friend of mine had visited Thailand to stay with his relatives and got into some sort of trouble that he was reluctant in disclosing. He had asked if he could borrow some money. His exact words were:

ifinally got to laos in need of $. if u cud deposit $400 to my account
and let me borrow sum $ (if u cud i really need it
i ran into som trouble in bkk,
account # *****-*****

I received this email on the 25th of November. I emailed him back and he is usually prompt with his email replies but I haven't heard from him since then. If a prOBlem occurs, he is usually precise and specific in describing it. This is the only time where he hasn't. I extremely worried about him and desire that someone would pray with me for his safety. He has recently become a Christian and I know that Satan is trying to stop him from telling his family members of the message of the Gospel. Thanks in advance!

Did he send that only to you? And does he usually type like that?

I'm not sure if I'm the only one who received his email, and none of his other friends seem to be aware of this. And that's the way he types...he may be dyslexic or his english is poor.

Wow, a foreign country can be a bad place to get in trouble. All I could do is speculate, and all that would do is add to the anxiety which would do no one any good.
