This sounds like Enya... I brought her cd years ago, I still have it. This was one of her songs, but I don't think she sang the full version. I have to check to make sure. She has a nice voice.

Not Enya - its a boys choir, Libera.

The popular version has in fact been "folked" & the Christianity removed. Pete Seeger popularised it.
