Shotgun preteen vs. Illegal alien Home Invaders

I always attempt to verify these “stories” before sharing them. I never heard anything about this incident but, my wife received an email about it. So I went looking for further verification. I found the information below. However, I wasn’t satisfied and began a search of local newspapers and law enforcement; which resulted in nothing to corroborate the story below. One puzzle piece bothers me; why is it on the NBC web site? Has anyone else seen this email with a long list of forwards? Shotgun preteen vs. Illegal alien Home Invaders• December 4, 2010 1:31 PM An 11 year old girl, properly trained, defended her home, and herself……against two murderous, illegal immigrants…

A Foolish and Unconstitutional War By Patrick J. Buchanan Wednesday - March 23, 2011 "The president does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation." So said constitutional scholar and Senator Barack Obama in December 2007 -- the same man who, this weekend, ordered U.S. air and missile strikes on Libya without any authorization from Congress. Obama did win the support of Gabon in the Security Council, but failed with Germany. With a phone call to acquitted rapist Jacob Zuma, he got South Africa to sign on, but not Brazil, Russia, India or…

Moody is held in high regard and many Baptists love to quote him. However, in digging deeper into his ministry it seems that if he were around today many fundamentalists would speak out against him. Do you think the legacy of Moody has been positive or negative? Why?

Do you think that in that day, when its all over, all of the saints are in heaven with God and Jesus, and all the lost are suffering in the everlasting fire, that God, Jesus, and all the Saints will have pleasure seeing the lost suffer? Will God & the Saints have pleasure from lost souls suffering in the lake of fire forever? I might add, it was diffcult for me to word this.

OPEN REBUKE By Paul Proctor March 23, 2011 NewsWithViews.com The Emerging Church controversy has caught the attention of the mainstream media again and in a big way with the latest book from Rob Bell, entitled, “Love Wins: A Book About Heaven, Hell, and the Fate of Every Person Who Ever Lived” – a “universalist” view from a popular “Christian” author and pastor that has already drawn numerous objections from many evangelical leaders including several sharp commentaries from the president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, R. Albert Mohler Jr. – the latest of which appeared in the Baptist Press, titled, “Rob Bell and the (re)emergence of liberal theology.” A…

Temptation of Jesus 1 2 3

We know from Scripture that Jesus was tempted in the wilderness. Scripture also tells us that Jesus was tempted in all points like we are. We also know from Scripture that Jesus never gave in to temptation, Jesus never sinned. Question: Could Jesus have sinned? Or, was it impossible that Jesus could give in to temptation and sin because He was not only man, but also fully God?

The great daylight saving scam This weekend’s clock ritual costs more than it saves By John Merline - The Washington Times 6:39 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2011 Four years ago, Congress in its infinite wisdom extended daylight saving time (DST) by a month, with the goal of saving energy. Lots of energy. The bill’s champion, Rep. Edward J. Markey, Massachusetts Democrat, said it would save consumers a generous $4.4 billion over 15 years. Of course, Mr. Markey was just repeating what has long been an established truism among policymakers: Setting the clocks forward in the spring saves energy because people don’t have to turn their lights on as much as at night. …

New Bible draws critics of gender-neutral language 14 mins ago NASHVILLE, Tenn. – In the old translation of the world's most popular Bible, John the Evangelist declares: "If anyone says, 'I love God,' yet hates his brother, he is a liar." Make that "brother or sister" in a new translation that includes more gender-neutral language and is drawing criticism from some conservatives who argue the changes can alter the theological message. The 2011 translation of the New International Version Bible, or NIV, does not change pronouns referring to God, who remains "He" and "the Father." But it does aim to avoid using "he" or "him" as the default reference to an unspecified p…

Since having so many victories for their sexual preference agenda, homosexuals have grown quiet. The last we heard was Obama's Justice Department would no longer defend the law: Defense of Marriage Act. Recent major victories under Obama and the pro-liberal congress include the Hate Crimes Legislation and Repeal of DADT. Now they are quiet and with good reason, if there is no conversation then, there is no opposition. The press and TV media are quiet, you hear nothing about homosexuals and their agenda. They are organized, they want you to forget the gains they've made. I assure you they are planning the next assault while awaiting the apathy to occur and their recent g…

The Roman Church cintinues to be the leader in shedding a bad light on Christianity. I could pour over the history down through the ages but we've heard it all before. Last week Linda hollered at me, come and tell me who is helping take up the offering at the 1st Baptist Church. They air thier services on a local TV station during the week and linda had come up on it. I said, "That's our ex-son-in-law." She says, "You mean they would have him doing this?" Now, the reason she asked this question is because after he and our daughter divorced he has fathered a child and is shacked up with this child's mother. Makes me wonder how many other churches out there would allow this, i would say by having him take up the offering means this church approves of this and being a member of this church while living in such a sinful situation.

I forgot our wedding anniversary on Wednesday. (I must admit that I usually do.) My wife said she had reminded me, but if she did, I still forgot. I only realised when a lady at church said she had intended to send us a card, but had forgotten to post it. Oh dear.

Are there any mechanics that live near Golden State or West Coast that would be able to help a friend with his car. He attends college (but I am not sure which one at the moment), and he is having trouble with his car. He and his wife are on a VERY tight budget and could use some help with their car.

A local church has always had a radio broadcast on Sunday mornings. In times past part of the time they would have a singing program or but mostly a special preaching service. About 2 to 3 years back they got a new pastor, since he has been there they broadcast last Sunday's sermon this Sunday. Seldom does it fit their time slot, yet once in a while it will end a bit early, but most of the time the broadcast stops before the sermon ends. What is you thoughts? Is that OK? I feel they're making a big mistake having so many broadcast that ends before the sermon is complete.
