Calvinism is an incorrect understanding of soteriology
BrotherTony replied to Donut_brand_donuts's topic in Salvation Forum
It's always funny to see someone use the same tactics your are using to try and make themselves out to be the "victim." You've not "invited" me to do anything First lie. You didn't "invite" me to be cordial. You TOLD me...you simply don't seem to have a great grasp of the English language. You've come to these forums calling people liars, have tried to instigate fights, etc. So, "kind" (type) is actually what you are. I've named you justly. This thread needs to get back to it's heading...Calvinism, as untasteful as the subject is. -
Calvinism is an incorrect understanding of soteriology

First,You are going to find with your attitude few here are going to want to converse with you. Second, you're not asking anything. You're basically commanding us. Thirdly, there's no basis for discussion as YOU have not laid out anything that you would like to discuss. Is that you Ray? -

No threat. It's not my place to threaten. But, I have been here for several years now and I have seen your kind come and go. I've behaved as cordially as a I am going to. Jerry and I are nothing alike, and he himself can tell you that. I can tell you that neither he nor I are liars. Nor do we usually mess with those who call us liars. We let the moderators and administrators handle things. You might want to acqaint yourself with the rules of this site. There's no need for me to ask you any questions. Your posts have shown us all we need to know. Have a nice weekend. -
Calvinism is an incorrect understanding of soteriology
BrotherTony replied to Donut_brand_donuts's topic in Salvation Forum
I can guarantee you that if you continue on the path that you're taking addressing other posters here you might find your tenure here short lived. So far the only one posting lies here is you. You are the only one acting less than cordial. -
It shouldn't be... turning to "witch doctors", servants of seducing spirits, is NEVER acceptable according to the Bible.

Calvinism is an incorrect understanding of soteriology
BrotherTony replied to Donut_brand_donuts's topic in Salvation Forum
You like to talk about things being in people's nature's. We see what yours is, and we find your description in Scripture.... false accuser of the brethren...care to be a bit more honest and civil? -
You always have options. Going over to "spirits" unknown to attempt to heal ones pain is NEVER right. The Bible tells us about giving ourselves over to . seducing spirits. If you claim to be a child of God , why would this question even arise? It shouldn't.

Calvinism is an incorrect understanding of soteriology
BrotherTony replied to Donut_brand_donuts's topic in Salvation Forum
There's a lot of problems with people who psint everything and everyone into their preconceived groups. I told you why as well. This place has seen it's incoming of gung ho armchair theologians such as yourself. Pointing out your error is not becoming defensive as you would like it to be. It is, however, something that many here will do when you're wrong. So, how and what would or should I or anyone else here know? -
Calvinism is an incorrect understanding of soteriology
BrotherTony replied to Donut_brand_donuts's topic in Salvation Forum
You're taking a preconceived ideology and painting with a wide brush. When people ask anyone that I know they don't even give people an inkling of the denomination that they are part of. They always start the conversation off with the fact that they are a Christian, and then go into their salvation testimony. So, really the problem is in your ideology as presented. -
Rapture Timing – Simplified.
BrotherTony replied to John Young's topic in End Times/Bible Prophecy
Better come up with more than just one portion of scripture. Repeating the same shiort set of verses isn't anywhere near xomparing scripture with scripture. This is wrong from the getgo. Rapturists believe and scripture says that the antichrist will be revealed AT THE BEGINNING of the tribulation period and will sign a seven year peace with Israel, reneging on it halfway through. That's the problem with YouTube scholars.- 38 replies

I have checked all my archives and I can't find either one of these.

Is this why you're going all around the internet posting accusations of people from each site of leaking your information? I'm going to be frank with you...you're a conman. Pure and simple. You've accused people on the two other sites of doing the same thing, posting the same information you have here. This is spam and phishing. You stated you've been "tortured." You stated on one site several months ago that the problem with your eyes (we notice they're swollen and red) was irritated from some malady, not torture as you've inferred. HONESTY is the best policy, and you've NOT been honest here or on any other site I have seen you posting on.

He's also done the same thing on his Facebook page...stating someone has leaked information about him, and has requested they remove it.

I can agree with that wholeheartedly. When I had walked away from everything for a period of time to recover from abusiveness in the churches my wife and I attended, I still listened to him, Dr. Tony Evans, Dr. Arno Weniger (then president of MBBC), and a couple of others. Their messages allowed me to heal, grow, and recover and move on with life as the Lord would have for me.

I can agree with his sentiment. Having been raised in a home where the father wouldn't take on his spiritual role as head of the family, and having a domineering mother in that area of our family life, we can see, comparing my family with that of a friend whose father DID take that position, my friends family grew up and now has nearly all kids and many grandkids, serving the Lord. My siblings and I have never been what we could have been had our father taken his role seriously. A Christian father should always take his leadership role in the family seriously. Too many haven't, and this is one reason society and churches today are in chaos.

This was on your Facebook page from back in December. I might get a rebuke from the administrators here, but, these kinds of actions lead me to believe that this is the work of a professional con artist. This is my opinion from the research I have. I would like for it to be wrong, but I have dealt with far too many constraints in my 62 years here on this earth.

This just seems to be getting deeper into the questionable column... Here's a link to a site asking for money on your behalf... https://givealittle.co.nz/cause/a-brother-in-africa-with-nz-connections-needs-love Sorry, but I have seen these tactics too many times before. This is from EARLY last year....

Could this possibly be why Camaroons government is "wanting your head?" Believe me, I AM praying for you. The Lord knows what issues you have and can help.

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.

Looking back over the replies to your posts has revealed that nobody here has made any statements concerning dual citizenship and therefore would not require any deletion of posts. I and others here question the veracity of your posts and with good reason. As far as "pushing" you to do anything, the statement is false in and of itself. Your statements on this site seem to be patently false. We here on this site HAVE asked for proof of your claims and none has been forthcoming.

Your story still seems a bit far-fetched, as interpol doesn't make it a practice to protect individuals of little or no political value, and even then really don't make it a practice for that. They're in the business of capturing, detaining, and transferring international criminals to the Hague, or to the country where a crime has been perpetrated by said individual(s). Why would the government of Camaroon want your head? And if they're after you why would you be foolish enough to continue posting on a site that allegedly contributed to your alleged persecution? The things you are posting just don't add up. And to be honest, an Internet search of the name you gave has brought up similar postings from back as far as 2017.
-
I don't want to say anyone is dishonest, but, do you have any proof that someone here in this group (Online Baptist) has written to interpol? I mean, why would anyone here write to interpol, an policing agency that would in no way be sympathetic to your claim of persecution, claiming that you are an American when you've nowhere in your postings here indicated such a thing? These are sincere questions in some minds here because of some inconsistencies in your story.

I was certainly hoping that it was coming across the wrong way. You and I have discussed this several times over the years. Still, after being attacked by one from the Calvinistic persuasion this past week, and my having to block him when I never thought I would have to, I am a little more ready to go on the defense of those who hold to free will. When it comes to the defense of Biblical salvation, I don't believe anyone would say to be soft on the issue.
