There is no Bible passage that teaches the Antichrist will be transgender.

The Bible teaches the Antichrist will be a man. The Bible mentions Russia and its allies being defeated by God when they come against Israel It is possible that the aftermath of the battle (when that does happen) could be the one world leader stepping into power and making a seven year peace treaty with Israel.

I don't know all the answers, but I know where to find all the answers in life, practice and doctrine, that the Lord would have us know. Deuteronomy 29:29 The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law. I am not afraid to admit I don't know something or I need to dig in the Bible more to find out the answer or to refresh my mind on that issue - however, I would never attempt to preach on a subject or passage that I do not have a firm grasp on, as that could cause confusion to others. -

Catholicism is not a different denomination or church - it is an entirely different religion, using some of the same terms and words, but with different meanings. Yes, a Catholic can get saved DESPITE their religion, but their walk will be hindered or affected to the extent that they are still stuck in their doctrines and practices. My Mom was a Catholic. She got saved through reading her Bible around two years before she died. She was truly saved - but due to her cancer and being in and out of the hospital (and in and out of comas due to failed organs), she never "left" the Catholic church officially (though in reality, she was probably not that much in their services and activities in that last year or two anyway). She however, no longer believed the fundamental works doctrine of the Catholic church and its mass, as she was fully trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation and His finished work on the cross. In regards to this thread: Is God limited by only being able to save those who have the King James Bible? Of course not - HOWEVER, the Bible you read and study from will affect your day to day walk with the Lord, your understanding of Bible doctrine to the extent that version is changed or different from the KJV, and and also possibly affect your reverence for the Lord and the things of God depending upon what type of Bible is being read (I have read or watched various testimonies of believers stating this exact thing, that reading a dynamic equivalent version or a paraphrase had affected them and that they themselves noticed a major difference when they turned to the King James Bible). -
When a child of God deliberately compromises with sin or neglecting separation, it does affect their walk with the Lord and their daily fellowship with him. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. The implication is that God will not have that closeness of a Father to you if you are compromising with sin and those who are involved in it.

No one is saying there should never be a change - BUT IF THE REASON SOMEONE WANTS THE CHURCH SERVICE TO CHANGE IS BECAUSE THEY ARE BORED or not getting much out of it (assuming we are referring to a sound church), THEN THE PROBLEM IS WITH THAT CARNAL BELIEVER or lost person. Being involved with preaching for years, and being an usher for more years, I know that it is stressful to just up and change the order of the church service. (And churches do occasionally change the service when there are special meetings or guest preachers.) Assuming that a pastor sought the Lord diligently when choosing how to direct the church service (overall), someone coming along later and questioning it is simply being presumptuous. The pastor is the one God gave the authority to guide and shepherd the church, not a discontented church member or visitor. -
No TRUE Christian would turn "gay" after salvation (implying being openly gay, deliberately living and walking in this sin). Perhaps because of past abuse they may struggle with this sin, but they can not openly become gay and live that way without severe consequences from God. And if they were gay before "being saved" but never repented of their abominable lifestyle, they are not saved. 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

What kind of ceremony? Marry them? If they were repentant, saved, and wanting to marry so as not to live in fornication, I can see someone performing that marriage in accordance with God's Word - but if they are performing a marriage because they think they are already married because of living common law, that would not be right, nor would it be right for a pastor. etc. to perform a marriage for an unsaved couple.

According to the last book of the Bible, there were only 12 Apostles - and will only be 12 throughout eternity. Revelation 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. Also, Paul and the other Apostle worked the signs of an apostle as they were giving the churches NEW revelation. God's written Word is finished. He is not adding to it today, so there is no need for an apostle today. In the passages of the NT that refer to the end times, there is no reference to true signs and wonders before Christ's return, only false and deceptive ones. Of course, there is also 1 Corinthians 13:8-12, which refer to the sign gifts being done away with. If that is the case (which I fully believe), what signs and wonders would a NEW apostle be doing today?

Who do you think the Lord is going to guide? The visitor who is "bored" and personally wants to change things up because they are carnal, or the shepherd/pastor who oversees the church? -

If the Lord God has guided a particular church to do their service a particular way, then there is no reason to do it another way (until and if the Lord does so guide). If a visitor or member finds a particular church service boring, then there may be a problem with them and their walk with the Lord. -
Matthew 24 is primarily dealing with the tribulation. We are not there yet.

These are general signs of the end of the age, but specifically referring to the Tribulation period. If it is an actual order of events, it is events during those seven years - not an order of events now. Though, now we see all of those things gradually increasing over time as we get closer to that day - not progressively, but all together. Wars and rumours of wars, famines, pestilences, earthquakes, and persecutions. Revelation 6 does present an order of events for some of these things (and can be aligned with Matthew 24) during the Tribulation period: First seal: Antichrist; second: war: third: famine; four: death; fifth: martyrdoms/persecution; sixth: worldwide earthquake and things happening in our atmosphere and in outer space.

I would also add that I believe the primary application of this verse today is to cults and false religions, such as Catholicism and Seventh Day Adventists that teach you can't marry (for the priests and nuns) and that we are not to eat meats or certain meats.

Context. This is talking about false teachers who reject the truth and those in the end times who have itching ears. All the New Testament is for believers. 1 Corinthians 7 is the primary NT passage dealing with marriage and remarriage (and forbidding to marry is not dealing with remarriage, but marriage in the first place). God's Word does not contradict itself. If you have a conflict between your views and the Bible, the Bible is right. We also need to rightly divide the Word of God and put all passages dealing with the same principle or doctrine side by side and see how they fit together - see if any of it is fulfilled or done away with in the NT - though in this case you are dealing with two NT passages, therefore one is not done away with. Context is essential.

The best passage to look at is 1 Corinthians 7. And no, the Bible does not say you are automatically free to remarry. The verse posted above does not apply in this issue. The Bible teaches that you cannot remarry until your spouse dies or you are guilty of committing adultery.

This was noteworthy when I watched the producers talking about this: Dallas Jenkins said there was not much in modern media that gave a good descriptive image of Jesus, and one of the reasons they produced the show was to give people an image or picture of Jesus they could have in their mind when praying and reading the Bible. And on top of that, Jenkins and others are selling pictures and paintings of Jesus - INCLUDING pictures of the actor who played Jesus. No matter how you feel about movie and tv portrayals of Jesus in that story format - SELLING images of Jesus (whether paintings, portraits of the actor playing Jesus, etc.) for you to buy and keep in your home would definitely qualify as the promotion of idolatry. That is not Jesus in any shape or form whatsoever - it is a man-made image. To think about that, to focus on it while praying, reading the Bible, and "worshipping" God is exactly what the Bible forbids AND condemns. No one knows what Jesus looked like physically as the Bible never gives a physical description, and to identify the real Jesus with an artistic representation is wrong. As Paul said: Acts 17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
