Members AVBunyan
God is very particular about what words he uses when it comes to relating truth to the believer today. Even two letters could make the difference between heaven and hell. Observe how important this is when it comes to the sinner being justified before God. What does the scriptures say about this? Look at the following verse regarding justification. Gal 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. This verse declares that man is justified by the faith of Jesus Christ. This says that it is Jesus
Members SquishTumBugDad
Amen! This is a very good point. I had never really thought of that, but I definitely see your point. I agree with you. The modern versions do most certainly alter even the most basic of doctrines. Thank you for bringing this up.
