Members ltl Posted February 7, 2007 Members Posted February 7, 2007 The Charismatic movement is large in my country, so many (especially) young Catholics here are of the Charismatic bent. Some call themselves "Evangelical" Catholics and use the same lingo as Evangelicals do. We of course know a Catholic cannot be an Evangelical because they do not believe that salvation is by grace through faith alone. How do I witness to them? I happen to know one of them. Quote

We have the same problem in Australia. They talk about being born again, receiving Christ as Saviour, being saved by grace and not works, speaking in tongues, being baptized in/by the Holy Spirit. Witnessing to these poor decieved souls is very frustrating. I would suggest, if they are open to it, to sit down with them with your Bible and go through what the Scriptures teach on being born again etc. Also, stick to one topic at a time otherwise confusion will occur. Pray the Holy Spirit will open their eyes to the truth. Doc H Quote
