Well Edy's "Dibs" were half off this week...which means instead of the outrageous $4/small carton they were only the less outrageous price of $2/carton...so had to indulge. :lol

YUM they are totally good...but the fat and saturated fat content are very much off the chart. Oh well. :cooldude:

("Dibs" are little bite size pieces of different novelty ice cream flavors coated in chocolate coating...actually a great way to serve kids ice cream, doesn't make as much mess... and they are VERY yummy besides!)

I've had those ... except where I live they're called Dreyer's Dibs. :lol My favorite flavor is the Cookies 'n Cream. Yum! The peanut butter ones are also delicious though. :thumb I agree, they are a once-in-a-great-while treat. They were on special -- 2 for $4 the last time I bought them too. :lol

I got the caramel and mint and sundae cone ones.... Daddy and the boys polished off the sundae cone ones and I ate most of the mint...so sent dh back today to pick up a few more since the sale is still on but all were gone except caramel and chocolate so oh well, he got a few of those but didn't get to try any others.

Yeah Dreyers and Edys, not sure why they change their name...but that brand is my total favorite ice cream ever!

It's Dreyer's west of the Rockies, and Edy's east of the Rockies. Must be a regional thing -- like Best Foods and Hellmann's mayonnaise (same company, same recipe, same commercials -- but it's called by one name in one half of the USA and by another in the other half). My dad used to be a self-employed industrial refrigeration engineer, and sometimes he would do jobs for Dreyer's. So guess what he would bring home sometimes? :wink :lol Yep, you got it. Sometimes the cartons would say "Dreyer's" and sometimes "Edy's" but it was the same ice cream.
