I know this person who has hurt me more then anyone ever could and this person probably doesn't even care. I need to give this to the Lord and he will help me move on and I totally am never to possibly see or talk to them again. How do you move on from something that has meant so much to you. Please keep me in your prayers as it is so hard to forgive this person but we are suppose to forgive everyone....

Actually I will with God's help..Like I said God gives strength when it is needed

I've been there and it's difficult; something many of us could never do on our own. Thanks to our great Heavenly Father, those of us who are born again are assured we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us!

For myself, it took a lot of prayer. Sometimes I would have to remind myself that I had forgiven them and given the situation over to the Lord and I would pray once again for the Lord to help me be truly forgiving and to cast the burden upon Him.

You are doing the right thing. Trust in the Lord, pray for strength, pray for wisdom, recall how the Lord so graciously forgave you of all your sins, cleanse your heart and mind from any bitter, wrongful or sinful thoughts in this area (the Lord will give you the strength, wisdom and guidance for this as well), and be ever quick to take the matter to the Lord in prayer for as long as it takes.

And, as you have done here, request the prayers of your brothers and sisters in Christ in this matter.

I am so glad we have a God that forgives us so we should forgive others

(Matthew 6:14 ) For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:
(Matthew 6:15 ) But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Without God I can't see how people forgive other people it is hard at times but with God nothing should be hard.
