Administrators Pastor Matt Posted March 12, 2008 Administrators Posted March 12, 2008 Could any of you that keep getting logged off please send me your OB cookie? You can either send it to me in an attachment or paste the information in a PM. Internet Explorer 7 1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options. 2. Under "Browsing History", click Settings. 3. Click View View Files. Find the OnlineBaptist.com cookie. Quote

Click View View Files. Find the OnlineBaptist.com cookie. Help for the computer illiterate, please. (LOL) That was like looking for a needle in a haystack at first. I found a couple of cookies and a whole lot of GIF images (boxes, headers etc.) Now what do I do--they are just a big list? Oh, and how do you PM someone if you can't even log in at all? Quote
Members Pastorj Posted March 12, 2008 Members Posted March 12, 2008 I cannot find a cookie named Onlinebaptist cookie or anything similar Quote
Members Disciple Maker Posted March 12, 2008 Members Posted March 12, 2008 I use Fire Fox and was having the same problem. I went into Tools and then into Clear Private Data. I was able to log in afterwards. Quote
Members Bakershalfdozen Posted March 12, 2008 Members Posted March 12, 2008 PastorJ, in mine, the icon looks like a notepad and underneath it says, name@onlinebaptist That "name" up there is the name my computer knows me by. Most of the link is hidden but I think if you look for something similar to what I posted, you'll be able to find it. Quote
Guest Guest Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 What I can't figure out is if I "cleared" the OB cookies, why are there still a couple there and all that other "stuff"?--bzmomo6 (besides the fact, I don't know what to do with them) Quote
Members John81 Posted March 12, 2008 Members Posted March 12, 2008 Perhaps you could try clearing it again and then shut your computer down and restart and see if that helps. Quote
Members Pastorj Posted March 12, 2008 Members Posted March 12, 2008 I have no cookie with that name. I cleared all my cookies and relogged in and still no cookies with the name Jesanis@onlinebaptist Quote
Members bzmomo7 Posted March 12, 2008 Members Posted March 12, 2008 I talked to my dh at work..............he told me to just clear it ALL, and that is what I did. Cleared every single cookie off the computer and cleared the cache, too (not just the OB ones). Don't know if it was necessary, but it worked. I'm up and running.............for now, at least!! Quote

Members Pastorj Posted March 12, 2008 Members Posted March 12, 2008 Any thoughts to my problem. Whatever you did before fixed me, but now I am still logging out almost every time I change screens. I looked for the cookie, but I have no cookie with the online baptist name. Quote
Members bzmomo7 Posted March 12, 2008 Members Posted March 12, 2008 I think so, so I got rid of EVERYTHING............I was like, do we really need all that junk on the computer?? Quote
Members LindaR Posted March 13, 2008 Author Members Posted March 13, 2008 Got logged off again, but all I had to do this time is to clear the board cookies and login. Quote
