Jesus "in the flesh" died on the cross for our sins. 1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Jesus wasn't God. Now, where WAS he those 3 days? Quote

I don't know with whom you are agreeing, but by your answer here and your posts in other topics it surely isn't me. In fact, it appears to me you are only on this forum to gain some kind of cheap thrill by stirring up strife with your vain jangling. Based on this I will bow out of what will most likely be pointless and fruitless discussion. 1 Timothy 6:3-5 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; 4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, 5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself. You truly should be careful when you make those kinds of statements. You call yourself "Thinking." Your antagonistic attempts here indicate that you might need to change your moniker. Read your Bible and ask the Holy Spirit to help you understand, and examine yourself and realize your need for Christ as your Savior. Jerry 1 Quote

You said Jesus was truly dead- and God cannot die; why the snide remark? 9 hours ago, BrotherTony said: You truly should be careful when you make those kinds of statements. You're speaking heresy when you state that Jesus wasn't God. The Bible is clear that he was God the Son in human flesh. Since it's clear that you're only here to hear yourself yak, and since the Bible tells us to withdraw from fruitless conversations and avoid the foolish, I will withdraw from this conversation. I'll be praying for your salvation. Quote

You have NO understanding of the Word of God, and you have no intention of learning. God has the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Genesis 1 and John 1 are good places to start. Try it sometime.
